College and Career Fairs

The Washington County Workforce Alliance (a coalition of employers and educators) is pleased to announce its fifth annual College & Career Fair. There will be two events again this year:

March 18 at Hartford Union High School from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

March 19 at Washington County Fair Park (Ziegler Pavilion) from 8 AM to 3 PM

The Hartford event is for HUHS juniors and their parents. The Fair Park event targets juniors at Slinger, Kewaskum, West Bend East & West, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Living Word and Hartford Union high schools.

Click on College & Career Fair Registration link in the left navigation panel to register.

The objective of these events is to connect students with reps from area business and industry who can help them relate their school-based learning with the skills required for workplace success. This is not a Job Fair, but rather, an educational opportunity. Additionally, reps from universities, technical colleges, building trades and the armed forces will be on hand to discuss degree programs and other learning opportunities to support career choices. For employers, this is a great opportunity to connect with the workforce of the future.

Booth fees for the Washington County Fair Park Event are used to cover rental costs and are as follows:

  •         $200 for a 10’x10’ booth which includes a 3’x8’ table and 2 chairs.
  •         $300 for a 10’x20’ booth which includes 2 3’x8’ tables and 4 chairs.
  •         Electrical hook-ups available for all booths

There are no fees for non-profit service companies at the WC event and for all representatives at the Hartford event.
